On 14 March 2014, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai, together with the Dubai Meditation Center and the Association of the Thai Community in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, organized a mass prayer for the Buddhist communities in Dubai, at the Consulate General.

The prayer, led by the Vice Abbot from Samphantawong Temple, attracted about 60 prayers who joined in a chant for the blessing of a blissful life.
