On 16 March 2014, Deputy Consul-General (Fabio Chinda) led a group of delegation from Ramkhamhaeng Hospital Public Co. Ltd. and Sukumvit Hospital, Thailand, for an audience with H.H. Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of Supreme Council UAE and Ruler of Ajman, and H.H. Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman at Ruler's Court, Ajman.  The delegation introduced their health and medical services as an alternative for the patients in Ajman, in which H.H. Sheikh Humaid praised the medical services in Thailand as being one of the best in the world, and expressed his interest of having a branch of the Thai hospitals in the Emirate.

     After the audience with H.H. Ruler of Ajman, the delegation met with Dr. Kubasi Al Fahady, Economic Advisor, Ruler's Court of Ajman and Dr. Hamad Obaied Al Shamsi, Director of Ajman Medical District and Director of Shiekh Khalifa Hospital to discuss the potential future collaboration in the field of health and medical services that will compliment the already existing services provided by the Khalifa Hospital.  The CEO of Khalifa Hospital welcomes technical and specialist exchange and encouraged a set up of a rehabilitation center under the Thai hospital branch in Ajman.  The delegation from Thailand shared a similar view and will discuss the idea further  with their colleagues in Thailand.  The meeting concluded with a visit of the Khalifa Hospital.
