On 13 March 2014, H.E. Mr. Krit Kraichitti, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, welcomed a delegation of teachers and students from Satree Pakphanang School, Nakhon Sri Thammarat, who were on a study trip to Malaysia.

Apart from providing a briefing to the delegation about the relations between Thailand and Malaysia, the importance of people-to-people contact within the ASEAN Community, and the need to be informed about local areas as well as the visited country in order to forge deeper relations between the people, the Royal Thai Embassy also arranged the delegation to visit SMK Aminuddin Baki, 1 of the 20 first-cohort high performance schools in Malaysia. During this visit, the teachers of the two schools were engaged in discussion about how cooperation between the two schools could be developed. At the same time, the students of not only the two schools, but also Western Port Secondary College Melbourne, which is SMK Aminuddin Baki's sister school, had an opportunity to network and enjoy some activities together.
