On 2 April 2014, the Royal Thai Embassy participated in the International Day at the British University in Egypt. The event provided the opportunity for the Embassies in Egypt from more than 26 countries and students to showcase their cultures through arts, traditional dresses, food, etc. The Embassy decorated its booth to promote Thai tourism, culture, boxing, language and food as well as to generate a deeper understanding of Thainess to the participants. Moreover, it also gave the special gift to participants who joined the activity of the booth. Thai booth received good feedback from participants, especially in Muaythai portrait. The event was attended by over 1,000 participants, most of them are students in the University.
