From 11-12 April 2014, the Royal Thai Embassy in Lima participated in the San Isidro Fair, an annual event organized by the Municipality of San Isidro. This Fair offers opportunity for all embassies located in the San Isidro District to promote their cultures in all dimensions through exhibition, food tasting and demonstration as well as cultural show under the theme of “ San Isidro opens its doors to the world” .This year over 8,000 people, mostly local and foreign residents of San Isidro and students, visited the Fair.

This is the third time that the Royal Thai Embassy in Lima participated in this event. The embassy aimed to promote Thailand and Thai cultures using cultural diplomacy to the public by means of  mobiles exhibitions, cultural performance and food tasting. Visitors to the San Isidro Fair showed great interest to the Thai stand especially during the Thai food tasting. For Peruvians, Thailand is known as a top tourist destination with unique cultures and cuisine.
