Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan delivered Humanitarian Assistance to the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan for the Relief of Landslide Incident

On 6 June 2014, H.E. Mr. Tomwit Jarnson, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan, on behalf of the Government and the people of Thailand, delivered a humanitarian assistance in the amount of 100,000 US dollars for the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the people of Afghanistan affected by the landslide incident. The financial assistance was handed over to Mr. Janan Mosazai, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Pakistan. Mr. Mosazai expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Royal Thai Government, on behalf of the Government and the people of Afghanistan, for the kind assistance extended to the victims of this tragedy. More than 2,000 people were killed and more than 700 families displaced by the landslide.
