On 19 September 2014, H.E. Mr. Panyarak Poolthup, Ambassador of Thailand to Vietnam welcomed H.E. Prof. Dr. Rajata Rajatanavin, Minister of Public Health of Thailand who was on an official visit to Vietnam to attend the 12th ASEAN Health Ministers Meeting (12th AHMM) and other related meetings in Hanoi. The Ambassador together with the officials of the Royal Thai Embassy hosted a dinner in honour of H.E. the Minister of Public Health and his delegation. The Ambassador of Thailand also participated in the opening ceremony of the 12th AHMM and attended the welcoming dinner hosted in honour of all ASEAN Ministers of Public Health by the Vietnamese Government.
