During 19-20 September 2014, the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Guangzhou dispatched a team to provide consular services to the Thai community in Zhuhai. The team also had an opportunity to  meet with high-level officers from Foreign Affairs Office of Zhuhai Municipal People’s Government and the Exit and Entry of Zhuhai Municipal Public Security Bureau to forge closer cooperation in providing services and assistance to the Thais residing in Zhuhai also to coordinate with the latter in updating evacuation plan for emergency incidents.

 

            Approximately 64 Thais are currently staying in Zhuhai. The team traveled to Chimelong Ocean Kingdom in Hengqin District and downtown Zhuhai near Gongbei Exit & Entry Point. The mission was successful in facilitating the Thais in consular services. The team also updated participants on relevant rules and regulations of the Kingdom as well as those of China deemed useful to the Thai who resides in overseas.
