On 9 September 2014, Ambassador Chirachai Punkrasin presented to the University of Guanajuato 54 books on Thailand, covering topics on language, history, culture, and tourism. The collection of books are to be helpful learning materials on the subject of Thailand, as well as to be used for reference by students interested in acquainting themselves more the country.

 

            The presentation of books was a part of the Embassy’s Thai Corner project in which the Embassy promotes studies on Thailand in Mexican institutions by providing a collection of books so that academic institutions could have a Thai corner in their libraries.
