On 5 November 2014, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand and H.E. Mr. Nasser Bourita, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco co-chaired the Thai – Moroccan Political Consultations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bangkok.
The Thai – Moroccan Political Consultations' took place as both sides prepare to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2015. The objectives of the consultations were to discuss ways to further enhance the existing cordial relations between the two Kingdoms, including economic and technical cooperation with the focus on support for each other at the multilateral level such as in the United Nations. It also gave an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on the current situation in their respective regions in order to find ways and means to further advance bilateral engagement and cooperation.
After the meeting, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand hosted a dinner in honour of H.E. Mr. Bourita and his delegation at Sattabongkot Room, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
