On 9 January 2015, H.E. Mrs. Kanthong Unakul, Ambassador of Thailand to Nepal attended the inauguration ceremony of Nepal – Thai Boxing Championship 2015 as Chief Guest. The event was organized for the first time by Nepal Thai Boxing Association during 9 – 10 January 2015. Muay Thai players from fourteen districts participated in a two-day competition.
