On 14 January 2015, H.E. Mr. Tomwit Jarnson, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan, chaired the meeting of ASEAN Islamabad Committee (AIC) under the rotating chairmanship of Thailand at the Royal Thai Embassy. Ambassadors / High Commissioners and officials of the Embassies of the ASEAN member countries attended the meeting. The meeting discussed the activities to be jointly organized this year (2015) in the areas of political, economic, cultural, and sports cooperation. The planned activities are the meeting between the President of Pakistan and ASEAN Ambassadors, the meeting with the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and ASEAN Food and Cultural Festival. Besides, the ASEAN Embassies will host the sporting events according to their preferences.
