            On 2 May 2015, the Royal Thai Embassy, Wellington has conducted the orientation for three New Zealander volunteers who are selected to teach English at schools in the province of Rayong, Thailand for a period of three months from 18 May to 13 August 2015. Not only doesthe project help promote the development of learning and teaching English language in Thai schools, but itis also expected to fosterfriendship and people-to-people contacts as well as to make more “friends of Thailand.”TheEmbassy has successfully implemented the projects every year since 2012 invarious provinces around Thailand, i.e.KhonKaen, Ayutthaya and SuratThani, respectively. 
 
            The three New Zealander volunteers were warmly welcomed by teachers and students at their assigned schools, namely, Pluakdaengpittayakom School, Pheruksamatawittaya School and Srinagatindra the Princess Mother School in Rayong, respectively. Their innovative teaching styles have attracted many teachers and students interests in learning English and effectively makes them feel more confident in communicating in English.
