Moroccan JournalistsTaste the Best Thailand has to Offer

            The Royal Thai Embassy in Rabat organized a unique trip for two Moroccan journalists on May 16-22, 2015, to visit and experience first-hand the advancesin Thailand’s food industry, and especially, the development of Halal food science in the country. 
 
            The journalists from Lalla Fatima Magazine, a leading Moroccanmonthly  magazine for women(circulation of 53,000 copies/issue) and Food Magazine, a quarterly magazine focus solely on the trend of food industry in Morocco and International market(circulation of 9,500 copies/issue) visited many important sites showcasing the excellence of Thailand’s food Industry, including the Halal Science Center atChulalongkorn University, one of Thailand’s leading universities. 
 
            Researchersat the Center develop halal food science in Thailand, and the center is primarily responsible for improving the standard of Halal food throughout the country. 
 
            The reporters also visited, the Chang Hua Man Royal project, which is one of the many projects initiated, organized and sponsored by the King of Thailand to help local farmers to be able to live independently and sufficiently. 
There was also a visit to NamprikMaesri Ltd., which is one of the leading exporters of Thai chilli paste and ingredients in Thailand, and also the famous THIAFEX fair, which is one of the largest food expositions in Asia. 
 
            Of course, no visit to Thailand would be complete without a visit to some of the famous tourist sites,such as the breathtaking Grand Palace with its stunning pagodas, the serene Reclining Buddha Temple, as well as trips to the scenic flower marketand the Floating Market inDamnunsaduak andAmphawa.
