Thai Ambassador visited Fonterra Research and Development Center : mutual business opportunity
 
            On 4  June 2015, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Thai Ambassador to New Zealand, visited Fonterra Research and Development Center in Palmerston North. In this occasion, Mr. Maris met Mark Malone, Director, Fonterra Research & Developmentand Kelvin Palfreyman, External Relationships Liason Manager and listened to the presentation about dairy product innovation under brand Fonterra. It is expected that there will be business opportunity between public and private sector to promote educating in technology from experts to Thai farmers. In order to adjust and increase product quality, Fonterra’s business modules would be adapted in Thai dairy industry. Moreover, Mr.Maris also visited and observed the process of research in designing dairy product in the center. 
 
The Royal Thai Embassy and Thai Community in Wellington organized Nepal Earthquake relief fundraising activity
 
            On 5 June 2015, the Royal Thai Embassy, Wellington, New Zealand together with the Wellington’s Thai Community, organized the fundraisingevent for Nepal Earthquake victims at the Royal Thai Embassy. The event included many Thai food stalls selling Thai signature dishes at a cheap price, both savoury and sweet, namely, Pad Thai, Thai Green curry, rice noodle soup with chicken, cotton wool cake and sticky rice with corn and coconut cream.Moreover, this event was very well received from the visitors.
