On 27 May 2015, Mr. NarongSasitorn, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic delivered remarks at the opening ceremony of the Horeka Congress 2015, the biggest congress in the Czech Republic specially designed for hotels, restaurants and caterings businesses since Thailand was honoured as the only main foreign partner of the Congress for this year. Thai products and services, including foods, ingredients, decorative items, spa products, Thai massage, and tourism and business matching information, as well as a seminar on Thai culinary and cooking demonstration of Thai cuisine by Mr. SarayootSaeUng, a famous Thai chef from Italy, and Mr. Jan Davidek and Mr. Antonin Brada, the winners of the international cooking competition ‘Thailand Culinary World Challenge 2014’, were comprehensively presented at the Congressby the Office of Commercial Affairs of Thailand in Prague. At the opening ceremony, there were around 600 participants, including Mr. Andrej Babis, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the Czech Republic.
