General Chatchai Sarikulya, Minister of Commerce of Thailand, led a group of high-ranking officials to visit Japan from 3 - 6 June 2015. The purpose of the visit is to discuss potential cooperation on trade and investment with high-ranking officials of relevant Japanese authorities.

Upon his visit, the Thai ambassador called for the 5th Team Thailand in Tokyo Meeting to receive the Government's administrative policy from the Minister as well as to discuss bilateral issues focusing on economic aspect. Dinner in honour of the Minister of Commerce and his delegation was held afterwards at the ambassador's residence.
