Recently, the European Festival Association (EFA) held an annual General Assembly in Ostrava, the Czech Republic, from 4 to 7 June 2015. This year, H.E. Mr. NopadolGunavibool, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, and H.E. Mr. NarongSasitorn, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic, together with Mrs. SupawanTeerarat, Vice President and CMO of Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) and Mrs. HarisudaBoonyawat, Senior Manager of TCEB, attended the Assembly as special guests. At the event, the Thai Ambassador to the Czech Republic proudly announced that Chiang Mai Province in northern Thailand will host the Atelier for Young Festival Managers, one of the most influential events of the EFA to gloom the new generation of the festival managers, in November 2016. The cooperation between TCEB and EFA will clearly promote the MICE industry of Thailand in the European region and attracts more MICE travelers to Thailandin the future.
