On 20 June 2015, the ASEAN Committee in Prague (ACP), comprising of ASEAN’s Embassies in the Czech Republic, i.e. Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, attended activities in Karlovy Vary Region comprehensively arranged by the current chairman of the ACP, the Vietnamese Embassy. Miss SweeyaSantipitaks, the Minister-Counsellor of the Royal Thai Embassy, along with Thai diplomats, eagerly took part in the activities which started from the morning by visiting the Mosers Glass Factory, the renowned Czech glass manufacture with world class quality,followed by a working lunch with the high-level officials of the Karlovy Vary Region led by the Vice President of the Region. And, one of the highlights would be the opening ceremony of a colorful local festival in Sokolov, which, this year, had dedicated some area to specially set up an ‘ASEAN Zone’ in order to promote the information about ‘ASEAN’ in the Czech Republic.
