1. Consul-General delivers the donated sum of money to Wat Machimmaram 

                  

            On 26 June 2015, Consul-General Jackrid Kanjanasoon delivered the donated sum of 2,256 RM which the Royal Thai Consulate had mobilized from people in Kelantan and Terengganu to Wat Machimmaram for using in the “Project of Library Hall and ‘Por Tan Tit Museum’ Building” at Wat Machimmaram, Tumpat, Kelantan. 

      

            The total amount of budget to use for this project is approximately 1 million RM. For those wish to donate to the project, please contact Wat Machimmaram, Kg. 2. Royal Thai Consulate-General Supports the “Good Determination for Auspicious Years Project” of Thai Government

 

            On 5, 12, 19, 26 June and 3 July 2015, Consul-General Jackrid Kanjanasoon and Deputy Consul-General together with spouses and 3 student internships of the Consulate had been volunteering to assist the volunteer teachers in 3 Thai language schools in Tumpat District, Kelantan for the basic Thai language and cultural training to Thai-Siamese youths. The events were to support the Thai government’s policy of making  Thai peoples all over the world committed to the “Good Determination for Auspicious Years Project” (for three consecutive years, during 2015-2017) to dedicate to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej for his 88th Birthday Anniversary and Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's 60th Birthday in 2015, for His Majesty the King’s reign of 70 years, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s seven rounds of age Anniversary and Her Royal Highness Princess Ubol Ratana‘s 65th Birthday in 2016 and for His Majesty the King’s 90th Birthday Anniversary, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn ‘s 65th Birthday and Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn’s 60th Birthday Anniversary in 2017.

 

3. Consul-General Gives Information for Selecting the Best Teacher in Southern Border of Thailand.

 

            On 29 June 2015, Consul-General Jackrid Kanjanasoon was invited by Benchama Rachuthit Pattani School to be in the panel of expert to give information to the committee of “The 9th Follow in Honor of Ideal and Spirit Teacher 2015 Project”  who were appointed by the Office of the Basic Education Commission of Thailand to select the best teacher in Southern border of Thailand. One teacher will be selected to receive the prize and the director of Benchama Rachuthit Pattani School is the one of five candidates for this award.
