During 20 - 22 December 2015, the 2^nd Thai – Morocco Political Consultations was held in Rabat, Morocco. The meeting was co-chaired by H.E. Mr. Apichart Chinawanno, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and H.E. Mr. Nasser Bourita, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco with the aim to enhance their cooperation in various aspects, particularly, tourism, trade, education and people – to – people ties. 

On this occasion, the Thai Permanent Secretary also paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Mbarka Bouaida, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco. They discussed the bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues.

Both sides signed 3 Agreements as follows;

1) Protocol on Consultations and Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco,

2) Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco on the Exemption of Visa for Diplomatic, Official, Service and Special Passports,

3) Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco on Technical Cooperation.
