On Friday January 29, 2016 the Royal Thai Embassy in Riyadh held the orientation to more than 70 members of Thai Students Club in Riyadh who are university students from Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud University, King Saud University and the University of Princess Noura Abdulrahman. Two Thai students from University of Al Qassim also participated in this event.
The orientation, inaugurated by Mr. Danai Menabodhi, Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy, aims to provide guidelines in studying and living in the Kingdom for funded students by the Saudi government. Sufficiency economy philosophy of His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej, in consistence with the concept of sustainable development of the world today, was also introduced to be applied to the students’ way of life.
The Thai Student Club, established since 2004, was witnessed its successful activities by the presentation of its President. Representatives of three universities in Riyadh also showcased useful information of their universities. While appreciated the well-prepared presentations, the Embassy assured the Club of financial support to this year their outstanding projects.
