On 14 June 2016, H.E. Mr. Manopchai Vongphakdi, Ambassador of Thailand to Vietnam, together with the representatives of the Thai business sectors in Vietnam, namely Mrs. Jariya Chirathivat, General Director of Central Group (Vietnam), Mr. Choti Keawphet, representative of C.P. Vietnam and Ms. Nattika Kanpawong, representative of Bangkok Bank, has met with H.E. Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan, Chairman of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front to hand over 100,000 USD of an emergency aid fund from the Government and the Thai business sectors in Vietnam to support the people affected by the drought and salwater intrusion in Vietnam.
