On 5 June 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens organised the Royal Thai Volunteers Project on the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s Birthday Anniversary 3 June 2025. H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, along with the Embassy’s officials and staff, hosted a luncheon for approximately 120 students and staff members at Xatzikyriakou Child Protection Foundation in Piraeus, by catering popular Thai dishes and desserts such as chicken pad thai, roasted chicken, beef massaman curry, vegetable spring rolls, jasmine rice, steamed layer rice cake and steamed coconut custard.

The Ambassador also met with Mr. Georgios Dimitriou, Chairman of the Board of Directors, as well as the Foundation’s board members, members of the Ladies’ Committee, and other executives. The Foundation expressed its appreciation to the Embassy for hosting a Volunteers Project luncheon for the second year, which provided an opportunity for the Foundation’s students to experience Thai cuisine. Both sides exchanged views on child protection in Greece and agreed to continue to promote further cooperation in the future.
