During 8-9 July 2026 Miss Jitvipa Benjasil, Minister, Royal Embassy attended activities in Melbourne under the project to upgrade Thai food and agricultural products in Australia, which was organized by Dr Walaporn Saelee, Minister Counseller of the Office of Agricultural Affairs in Canberra and research team. Mr Naruchai Ninnad, Consul-General of Thailand in Sydney also participated.

The activities under the project included a site visit to warehouse and offices of Tangola Pty Ltd and SinghAus Beverage, a visit to CPF Australia Pty Ltd Office, and a focus group discussion with related businesses, owners of Thai restaurants, and importers of Thai products at YingThai2 restaurant.

The discussions covered current status of Thai food and agricultural products in Australia, opportunities and challenges, consumer preference and ways forward to further develop, upgrade and expand opportunities for Thai products in Australian market.
