H.E. Mr. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, Chairman of the Advisory Board to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, will lead a Thai business delegation to attend the SelectUSA Investment Summit 2026 in Maryland and related activities in Washington, D.C., during 2 - 6 May 2026 to further enhance Thai - U.S. economic partnership.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trade of Thailand, led by Dr. Poj Aramwattananont, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand, is scheduled to lead the Thai delegation to the SelectUSA Investment Summit 2026, hosted annually by the U.S. Department of Commerce. The delegation comprises executives of the Thai private sector from key industries, including food processing, energy, petrochemicals, banking, packaging and startups. The visit aims to support expanding business opportunities for the Thai private sector in the U.S., where Thailand’s investment presence has been increasing steadily, as well as to strengthen relations and enhance networks with various sectors in the U.S., including relevant government agencies, business organizations, and the private sector from across the U.S.
The Chairman of the Advisory Board and the Thai business delegation will meet senior officials from the U.S. Department of State, the Department of Commerce, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. - ASEAN Business Council, and the U.S. private sector, to further promote bilateral relations and scale up economic partnership. Thailand’s participation during this trip is part of the Ministry’s mission to drive economic diplomacy in promoting engagement with international partners to enhance Thailand’s economic opportunities and national competitiveness.
