On 24 May 2025, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, had bilateral discussions on the sidelines of the 46th ASEAN Summit and other related meetings in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with the following:

(1) Dato' Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, where the two sides discussed the follow up of the common understanding reached by the leaders of the two countries, including ASEAN’s key role in driving forward 5-point consensus, especially supporting Myanmar’s recovery efforts following the recent earthquake.

(2) H.E. Mr. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, where the two ministers discussed follow up of the successful official visit to Cambodia of the Thai Prime Minister. Both countries will increase cooperation to tackle narcotic drugs, online scams, and transboundary haze pollution. Thailand and Cambodia will also advance cooperation on border peace and development for the safety and wellbeing of the people, increase bilateral trade and connectivity between the two countries.
