On 24 February 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, had a telephone conversation with H.E. Mrs. Kaja Kallas, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission (HR/VP) of the European Union.

Both sides exchanged views on international issues, including the Russia - Ukraine situation, and discussed developments of the Thailand - Cambodia border situation, reflecting Thailand’s consistent and strict compliance with the Joint Statement signed on 27 December 2025 between the two sides.
