Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs meets with Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand

On 16 June 2025, H.E. Mr. Chutintorn Gongsakdi, Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, welcomed executives of the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand (JFCCT), along with representatives from 31 of its member chambers, led by Mrs. Vibeke Lyssand Leirvåg, Chairwoman of JFCCT.

Both sides exchanged views and discussed ways to enhance cooperation, including to maintain and elevate the ease of doing business in Thailand. Secretary Chutintorn highlighted the government’s strategic priorities to revitalize the economy, including promoting trade and investment, advancing green transition, and pursuing OECD membership. He emphasized the vital role of the private sector in contributing to these efforts. The JFCCT reaffirmed its commitment to mobilize the international business community in Thailand to support these objectives, including by sharing best practices to improve Thailand’s ease of doing business and strengthening local workforce capabilities.
