On 16–17 August 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kolkata organized a heartwarming CSR activity “We Do Good Deeds by Heart”, to mark the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s 93rd Birthday Anniversary on 12 August 2025. The event included (1) joining Wat Thai Magadh Buddhist Vipassana in providing snacks to the teachers and students of Bodhgaya Bodhikul School, and (2) hosting a lunch for 400 underprivileged children, while donating construction materials to support the renovation of Karuna School under the patronage of Wat Pa Dongkasiri.

This thoughtful initiative not only paid tribute to Her Majesty’s legacy but also underscored the Consulate-General's ongoing commitment to community support. It reflected the Consulate's role in strengthening the ties between Thailand and India, enhancing the quality of life, promoting education, and contributing to local development. Ultimately, the event fostered a deeper sense of friendship and mutual understanding between the two nations.
