On 28 October 2025, Ms.Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, had a discussion with Mr. Carlo Gheradi, Regional Director for EurAsia of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), on his first visit to the region since assuming office.

The Regional Director for EurAsia of NRC introduced the work of the organization. Both sides exchanged views on humanitarian assistance and the situation in the region, as well as Thailand’s policy allowing Myanmar Displaced Persons (MDPs) to work outside temporary shelters. They also discussed possibilities for future collaboration between Thailand and NRC.
