On 10 May 2023, Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand to India, hosted working lunch to Ambassadors and representatives from diplomatic missions accredited to Thailand with residency in India including Ambassadors of the State of Eritrea and Georgia to Thailand as well as Deputy Chiefs of Mission from the Embassy of El Salvador and Paraguay to Thailand.

The event, aimed at promoting Royal Thai Government’s agenda to host the Specialised Expo 2028 in Phuket, was also attended by Mr. Cherdchai Chaivaivid, Director-General of the Department of International Economic Affairs, to help securing support for the agenda. Ambassadors and Representatives from Embassies in the events expressed their personal supports and will push on with their respective governments to support Thailand.
