H.E. U Min Aung Hlaing, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar is scheduled to pay an Official Visit to the Kingdom of Thailand from 6 - 7 August 2026, at the invitation of H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister.

The visit will be President Min Aung Hlaing’s first Official Visit to Thailand since assuming office as President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will hold bilateral discussions with the President. The two leaders will discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation for the mutual benefit of both countries as well as cooperation within the ASEAN framework.

The President is also scheduled to meet the Acting President of the National Assembly and the President of the Senate of Thailand. In addition, he will preside over the opening ceremony of the Thailand - Myanmar Business Forum 2026, which will be held as part of the Official Visit.
