On 25 June 2025, Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, hosted a farewell luncheon in honour of H.E. Mr. Sándor Sipos, Ambassador of Hungary to the Kingdom of Thailand upon his completion of duty.

The Permanent Secretary expressed appreciation to the Hungarian Ambassador for his tireless efforts and dedication in strengthening Thai-Hungarian relations in various sectors, including trade and investment, education, agriculture, science and technology, water resource management, tourism, and the establishment of the Hungarian-Thai Chamber of Commerce to promote business ties and people-to-people relations. The Permanent Secretary also expressed appreciation to the Ambassador for organizing an event commemorating the 50th anniversary of Thailand-Hungary diplomatic relations, and for his patronage of the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation (YAVF). The Ambassador expressed his appreciation for Thailand and his pleasure in advancing a closer and more dynamic Thai-Hungarian relations in all aspects.
