On 8 May 2025, Ambassador Arunrung Phothong Humphreys, together with the Embassy staff and Group Captain Putthapong Phalajivin, Defence and Air Attache, welcomed a delegation from Joint War College, National Defence College of Thailand led by LT. Gen. Thurdthai Thapthanee, Commandant of the Joint War College, during their study visit to Sweden.

Ambassador Arunrung exchanged views with the delegation on various important issues which include knowledge that the delegate gained during their study visit in Sweden which could be applied to Thailand, such as, war materials production, disaster relief management, how to increase competitive advantage in Thailand, projects and activities of the Embassy on economics and innovation and Embassy’s mission to protect Thai nationals in Sweden.
