On 13 June 2025, H.E. Mr. Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, and H.E. Mr. Andreas Motzfeldt Kravik, State Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway, co-chaired the 13th Thailand–Norway Bilateral Consultations at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Oslo.

Both sides reviewed bilateral relations, which achieved their milestone of 120th anniversary of the establishment of the Thai-Norwegian diplomatic relations this year, and engaged in fruitful discussions on ways to enhance cooperation, particularly in the areas of innovation, healthcare, maritime medicine, green transition, and collaboration within the ASEAN framework. The discussions also covered regional and global issues, including the situations in Ukraine, Myanmar, and the Middle East.

The Vice Minister also met with H.E. Ms. Ragnhild Sjoner Syrstad, State Secretary to the Minister of Trade and Industry, to discuss ways to expand trade and investment, as well as the process of ratification and implementation of the Thailand–EFTA FTA.

The Vice Minister also participated in the Oslo Forum 2025, held from 11–12 June 2025. The Forum serves as a key platform for global leaders, mediators, and experts to engage in dialogue on conflict mediation and peace processes, as well as to address ongoing geopolitical tensions. The Vice Minister delivered remarks as a contributor in the session entitled “Derisking Disorder: Asia's Playbook for Conflict Prevention and Management" on 11 June 2025, in which Mr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of ASEAN, was the main speaker.
