Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs attends opening ceremony of Superlative Artistry of Shantou Teochew Opera to celebrate 50 years of Thailand - China diplomatic relations

On 10 July 2025, H.E. Dr. Lalivan Karnchanachari, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, attended and delivered remarks at the opening ceremony of the “Superlative Artistry of Shantou Teochew Opera,” jointly organized by Charoen Pokphand Group, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, as well as Thai and Chinese private sectors, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and China at ICONSIAM.

The Vice Minister commended the initiative to organize this event as an important contribution to deepening people-to-people ties through cultural exchange between the two countries. All sectors of the two countries have actively organized numerous activities throughout this year to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Thailand - China diplomatic relations. The year 2025 has also been designated as the Golden Jubilee of Thailand - China Friendship.
