On 12 March 2026, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, as Chair of the Thailand - U.S. Educational Foundation, presided over a meeting of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, with H.E. Mr. Sean O’Neill, Ambassador of the U.S. to Thailand, attending as Honorary Chair.

The meeting discussed efforts to advance educational cooperation between Thailand and the U.S. through the Fulbright Thailand Program, including plans to organize activities to mark the 80th anniversary of the Fulbright Program and Freedom250. The Fulbright Program serves as an important mechanism for promoting academic exchange and strengthening mutual understanding between the peoples of Thailand and the U.S.
