On 9 June 2025, H.E. Mr. Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, met with H.E. Mrs. Eeva Kristiina Kuvaja-Xanthopoulos, Ambassador of Finland to Thailand.

Both sides welcomed the close and dynamic development of Thai-Finnish relations and discussed preparations for the Vice Minister’s upcoming visit to Finland to participate in the 13th Kultaranta Talks, to be held on 16 June 2025 in Naantali. The forum, hosted annually by the President of Finland, serves as a venue for dialogue on key issues in security, foreign policy, and international affairs. In addition, both sides also exchanged views on regional and global security developments.
