On 4  August 2013, Royal Thai Consulate-General, Dubai, in collaboration with Tourism Authority of Thailand  and Thai Airways International, Dubai and the Middle East Office, hosted  an Iftar at Kris with a View Restaurant, Park Regis Hotel, Dubai, to express appreciation and gratitude to Friends of Thailand, Diplomatic corps, Dubai's public and private sectors, investors and media for their supports throughout the year.  Additionally, this event also served as an opportunity to welcome new associates, as well as a networking channel for the Consulate-General, Team Thailand and friends.
