Thai Ambassador to Sri Lanka Bids Farewell to Sri Lankan External Affairs Minister

     On 20 September 2013,  His Excellency Mr. Poldej Worachat, Ambassador of Thailand to Sri Lanka paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa, President of Sri Lanka, at Temple Tree, to bid farewell.
     During the courtest call , the President commended the work of the Royal Thai Embassy, Colombo, in strengthening the bilateral relations between Thailand and Sri Lanka through a number of events and activities such as the 260th Anniversary of the Establishment of Siam Nikaya (Siam Upasampada) in Sri Lanka, the3rd Joint Commission Meeting between Thailand – Sri Lanka on 1-2 May , the Official visit of Her Excellency Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra, Thai Prime Minister on 31 May- 1 June and the official visit of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on 19-22 August . 
     In this regards, the President also hosted a lunch in honour of the outgoing Ambassador.
