On December 5th, 2013, more than 400 representatives from German government agencies, diplomatic corps and members of the business sector and institutions in Germany attended the reception on the occasion of 86th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand at the Ritz-Carlton Berlin.  H.E. Mrs. Nongnuth Phetcharatana, Ambassador of Thailand to Germany, and H.E. Dr. Cornelia Pieper, Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office, delivered openning remarks underlying His Majesty’s determination and devotion to working towards better living conditions of His subjects.  They also mentioned about successful cooperation in various fields between the two countries during the year 2013, and also expressed mutual determination to promote Thai – German relations in the years to come.  The Royal Thai Air Force Band was invited to perform some of His Majesty’s music compositions during this reception.

     On December 8th, 2013, H.E. Mrs. Nongnuth Phetcharatana, Ambassador of Thailand to Germany, hosted a reception at Hotel Best Western Steglitz for the Thai community in Germany to celebrate the 86th Birthday Anniversary of H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand.  Almost 400 guests have sung together the Royal Anthem performed by the Royal Thai Air Force Band, and witnessed the presentation ceremony of the Royal Decoration to Ms. Srinapa Dhapjan-Langbein.  Another highlight was various beautiful cultural performances by Thai children in Germany during the reception.
