On 10 January 2014, Ambassador Vijavat Isarabhakdi shared his views on the Thai-U.S. relations at a luncheon discussion entitled "The United States and Thailand in 2014: A Conversation with H.E. Vijavat Isarabhakdi," organized by Asia Society, Washington Office.  
 
Participating in the discussion was a group of Asia Society members and supporters.  The event was held at the Bank of America Building in Washington, D.C. and was part of Ambassador’s Luncheon Series hosted by the Asia Society Policy Institute.  During the talk, Ambassador Vijavat discussed various aspects of the close and long-standing Thai-U.S. relationship, which over the past 180 years has developed to include cooperation in all dimensions and all levels, including at regional and international levels, and has brought mutual benefit to the two countries and a broader region.
