On 23 January 2014 H.E. Mr. Somchai Charanasomboon, Ambassador of Thailand to Sweden visited Open Trade Gate Sweden, a wing of the National Board of Trade of Sweden in order to learn about the function and services of the organization.  Open Trade Gate Sweden provides information on rules, regulations and requirements on trading with Sweden and also provides “Train the Trainers” seminar enabling exporters from developing countries to enter Swedish market as well as answer inquiry by Email or arrange a briefing in place.  

     H.E. Ambassador Somchai discussed with Mr. Michael Koch, Director, and invited an expert from Open Trade Gate Sweden to attend and speak at a “Seminar on Elderly Care Products in Sweden and Nordic Countries” to be held in Bangkok in March 2014 which was well accepted.  H.E. Ambassador Somchai also discussed the cooperation on “Traceability System for Thai Food” in order to improve the quality of products from Thailand to Swedish market and proposed the Open Trade Gate Sweden to arrange a course on “Train the Trainers”  which was welcomed.
