On 14 April 2014, H.E. Mr. Somchai Charanasomboon, Ambassador of Thailand to Sweden, along with Airport  Service Manager of Thai Airways International and an official from the Royal Thai Embassy, welcomed Mr. Pichai Pantrakul, Manager of the women’s national tennis team of Thailand, and his delegation including 4 female national tennis players: Ms. Tamarine Tanasugarn; Ms. Noppawan Lertcheewakarn; Ms. Varatchaya Wongteanchai; and Ms. Luksika Kumkhum.  The Thai tennis team will play against the Swedish national team in the World Group II Play-offs 2014 at Sparbanken Lidköping Arena, Lidköping.  

     On this occasion, H.E. Ambassador Somchai hosted a breakfast for the delegation at Clarion Hotel Arlanda Hotel, extended his moral support and wished them a success in playing the tennis matches.

     The Royal Thai Embassy would like to invite Thai community in Sweden to watch the tennis matches at Sparbanken Lidköping Arena, which is situated at Mellbygatan 54, Lidköping, from 19 to 20 April 2014, as well as to provide the Thai tennis team our moral support.
