Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs attends French National Day reception
On 14 July 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the reception celebrating the French National Day, at the Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai, Bangkok. H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, attended the event as the Guest of Honour.
Thailand and France enjoy close and comprehensive relations spanning political, economic, trade, investment, cultural, innovation, and people-to-people cooperation. The years 2025 - 2026 mark significant milestones in bilateral relations, commemorating the 340th anniversary of the first contact between the two countries and the 170th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, reflecting long-standing relations and close cooperation between the two countries. Both countries remain committed to further strengthening cooperation in potential areas and advancing Thailand - France relations towards a Strategic Partnership.
