The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Penang organised a volunteer activity on the occasion of the Anniversary of the Passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, 13 October 2025 and His Majesty King Chulalongkorn The Great, 23 October 2025. H.E. Mr. Psusist Wongsurawat led the officials, staffs, family members of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Penang to donate cleaning tool supplies and conduct a clean-up activity at the vicinity of Wat Chayamangkalaram.

This year, His Majesty the King of Thailand has graciously bestowed the Royal Kathina Robes, as a request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, to the congregation of Buddhist monks at Wat Chayamangkalaram. The volunteer activity to conduct a clean-up activity at the vicinity of Wat Chayamangkalaram served as a preparation to support the temple in organising the Royal Kathina Ceremony to be held on 11 October 2025 at 09.15 hours.
