On 30 October 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Penang held a ceremony for paying tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother. On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Psusist Wongsurawat, Consul-General of Thailand in Penang, presided over the ceremony and led the officials, family members, and staffs of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Penang to pay tribute and signed the book of condolences on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. Furthermore, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Penang also opens the Book of Condolences for members of the Consular Corps, executives of the State Government, and Thai community in Penang, and in states in jurisdiction at the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Penang on 27-31 October 2025 during 09.00 - 12.00 hrs. and 14.00 - 17.00 hours.
