On 27 - 30 June 2025, H.E. Ms. Chayika Wongnapachant, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, led a delegation of six local Thai entrepreneurs—namely Khwanta, Panidar, Nodething, My Moon, Varni, and Yanet—to showcase their products at the Thailand Showcase 2025 in London, United Kingdom. The event served as a key platform to increase visibility and assess market receptivity of Thai products among British consumers.

The delegation participated in business networking activities with local importers and business operators in the UK and held discussions with Selfridges, one of the UK’s leading department stores, to introduce Thai products and explore avenues for future collaboration. H.E. Mr. Nadhavathna Krishnamra, Ambassador of Thailand to the United Kingdom, was also in attendance.

Under the “From Local to Global” initiative, the Ministry is committed to strengthening Thailand’s grassroots economy by strenthening local entrepreneurs competitiveness towards reaching international markets. The Ministry collaborates with key partner agencies, including the Department of Community Development, the Department of International Trade Promotion, and the Creative Economy Agency, to broaden opportunities and access to foreign markets for distinctive and high-potential Thai local products through Thai festivals and business-matching activities in target cities worldwide.
